Welcome to Altdorf Biergarten!

A historic landmark and cultural hub in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Established in 1977, Altdorf Restaurant & Biergarten has long been popular with local residents and visitors to Texas' Hill Country. Located on Main Street, Altdorf's shady biergarten is an inviting oasis for the enjoyment of a wide variety of popular food and beverages, great for families and also pet friendly! Indoor dining is also available in the restaurant's historic limestone building. The menu naturally features traditional German dishes and beers, but a great selection of salads, sandwiches, steaks and even Tex-Mex dishes are also available to please everyone in the family. Join us for live music in the biergarten on weekends!
