This great Americana store-front also houses hundreds of architectural pieces and reclaimed material of all kinds to include corbels, cupolas, barn-wood, hand-hewn beams, shiplap, and corrugated tin.  Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm.

We are a candle company that uses a soy wax blend, and the finest fragrances to handcraft a variety of products. We offer 6 cube wax melts, fragrance spray, fragrance oils, 10 oz. small jar candles, 4 oz travel tins, 14 oz. medium jar candles, 20 oz. large jar candles, and 36 oz. x-large (3 wick) jar candles. These are purchased individually according to type, size and fragrance.

 Danita Jarreau opened Zertz in 2003 as an entertaining shopping experience, a place where Fredericksburg visitors and locals alike can browse a variety of goods with the personal customer service that makes shopping fun. Even the name Zertz—coined by Danita’s son as his distinctive and original word for dessert—points to the sweet selection of exceptional and affordable items that will make shoppers feel like they’ve enjoyed a delicious treat without the calories.

The store caters to all age groups and strives to offer brands that cannot be found anywhere else in Fredericksburg.  A few of the brands are Life is Good, Yellow Box, Sperry, Lucky Brand, Virgins Saints and Angels Jewelry, Birkenstock, Ray-Ban, Kendra Scott, Dear John, Free People, Z Supply, PJ Salvage, Alex and Ani and Sanuk.  Zertz carries plus sizes and men’s shoes and t-shirts.
